About HUNT SAFE USA

Problem Solved.

Truly hands-free tree climber safety — always attached around the tree from ground to sky.

The Solution

Hands-free. Four points of contact.

HUNT SAFE USA safety clips allow you to safely ascend and descend a tree using a full-body safety harness and tree rope while using a tree climber. The clips attach to the cable on the top section of the tree climber and hold the tree rope around/off the tree as you climb.

This technique lets your hands stay on the tree climber at all times while you remain safely attached around the tree from ground to sky — making HUNT SAFE USA safety clips truly hands-free.

HUNT SAFE USA safety system

Why it matters

The most dangerous time when using a tree climber is ascending and descending. HUNT SAFE USA helps you always maintain four points of contact — two hands on the top section and two feet on the bottom section.

Prior to HUNT SAFE USA

The problem hunters faced

Hands off the climber

Hunters had to physically remove their hands from the top section of the tree climber every time to loosen and reattach the tree rope around the tree while ascending or descending.

Only two points of contact

During those moments, a hunter only had two points of contact with the tree climber — feet on the bottom section. HUNT SAFE USA changes that by helping you always keep four points of contact.

HUNT SAFE USA not only makes using a tree climber faster and more convenient — it could ultimately save lives. WHAT IS YOUR LIFE WORTH??

Beyond the hunt

Commercial uses

HUNT SAFE USA Safety Clips not only allows for a safe hunt but it also allows one to return home safely to their family and love ones!! Ultimately what is your life worth?

Tree Climbing Instructions

Using a full-body safety harness, tree rope, and HUNT SAFE USA safety clips.

ALWAYS Check Equipment Before Climbing

  • Ensure full-body safety harness is properly fitted, snug but comfortable.
  • Verify carabiners, ropes, straps, and knots are secure and in good condition.
  • Confirm tree climber, harness, and tree rope are rated for your weight.
  • Pick a safe, uniform tree with minimal limbs/knots.
  • Top and bottom sections of the tree climber should be securely attached to the tree and tethered together.

Climbing Preparation

  • Always use a full-body safety harness when using a tree climber.
  • Attach HUNT SAFE USA safety clips to the cable/strap on the top section of the tree climber.
  • Position clips at a 45-degree angle to the tree, spaced about 12 inches apart.
  • Place tree rope around the tree into the safety clips, then attach rope to the harness.

Ascending the Tree

  • Double-check harness, tree rope, and clip positioning before you climb.
  • Use stand/squat techniques; avoid dangling or overextending.
  • ALWAYS maintain four points of contact at all times.
  • Keep your body centered and balanced to reduce strain.

Transition to Descent

  • Ensure the safety harness is correctly attached to the tree climber and tree rope.
  • Confirm the rope is positioned correctly in the HUNT SAFE USA safety clips.

Controlled Descent Technique

  • Lower the bottom section, then the top section, using stand/squat in reverse.
  • Keep your body upright with hips close to the trunk for stability.
  • Use legs and core — avoid relying solely on arm strength.

Descending Safely & Reaching Ground

  • Descend steadily — do not rush. Stay attentive to gear and surroundings.
  • ALWAYS keep four points of contact while descending.
  • On the ground, detach harness from tree rope, check surroundings, and step out carefully.
